The Eighteenth Annual Mitten and Hat Tree!

Cold weather is signaling the start of mitten and hat season!
The mitten and hat tree will be ready once again for decorating at the Hyannis Public Library. The Trustees and staff of the library are pleased that our tree is the collection spot for your donations of mittens, hats, and other warm items for local children and youth without these basic necessities.

Help keep a child warm this winter with a little of your time, talent and, caring. If you don’t knit, crochet, or sew, please consider recruiting someone who does and purchase the materials. Donations of new “store-bought” gifts are also welcome and appreciated.

The Hyannis Library’s special tree will be on display and waiting for warm decorations on from December 6 until December 20.

The items will be distributed to local charitable organizations.

Please join us in the eighteenth season of this holiday tradition to help our neighbors.
