Children and their Teddy Bears, or other lovable stuffed friends, are invited to the Teddy Bear Picnic in the Hyannis Public Library’s lovely backyard Wednesday, August 1, from 3 to 4:30 pm. There will be a Story Teller on hand to weave some tales, face painting, crafts to make and take home, games, plus cookies and lemonade! The donation to the benefit the library is $10 per family, including Teddy Bears.
Proceeds will go towards books, games and DVDs for the children’s room of the library. In case of rain, they’ll move indoors. RSVP to the children's librarian Miss Mary at 508-775-2280.
