Twenty Two Years of the Hat and Mitten Tree!

The mitten and hat tree is once again up and ready for decorating! The library’s tree is the collection spot for  donations of mittens, hats, scarves and other warm items for local children and youth without these basic necessities. Help keep a child warm this winter with a little of your time, talent and caring. If you don’t knit, crochet, or sew, please consider recruiting someone who does and help purchase the materials. Donations of new “store-bought” gifts are also welcome and appreciated. All of your warm gifts will be distributed to local charitable organizations. Mittens and gloves are especially needed this year.

The mitten and hat tree will be ready for decorating at the Hyannis Public Library on Thursday, Dec. 1.
